Abstract

The invention relates to an endosseous implant comprising a body (1) provided with at least one peripheral longitudinal cavity (7) whose cross section is defined by a circle and whose lateral aperture forms a window (8) for passage of the bone substance for osseointegration of the implant. The transverse dimension of the window (8) is smaller than the diameter defining the cross section of the cavity (7), being defined by a chord (10) of the circle that corresponds to a segment delimited by an angle of less than 180°. The cavity (7) is formed by drilling the body (1) and then reducing the diameter of the body (1) until the lateral aperture of the cavity (7) forming the window (8) is obtained.
