5. Amaranthus crispus (Lesp. et Thév.) N. Terrac. (Argentina) – A rare, ephemeral and much decreasing alien. Formerly regularly seen between 1887 and 1959 as a wool alien in the Vesdre valley, rarely elsewhere. Last seen (outside the Vesdre valley) on a dump in the port of Antwerpen in 1952.
Amaranthus crispus is locally naturalised in parts of Europe.
