Famous Ballet Dancer Maya Plisetskaya Died
In Germany died ballet dancer Maya Plisetskaya. As the director of "Bolshoy" theatre told TASS agency, the artist 89 years old died from a heart attack.
Russian ballet dancer Maya Plisetskaya was born on November 20, 1925 in Moscow. She has been performing on stage for almost 60 years, about 50 of which in "Bolshoy".
Her most famous pieces were the Odette in "The Swan Lake", Aurora in "The Sleeping Beauty", Carmen in "Carmen-suite" by Schedrin, etc.
