This perennial is also used as an herb and a groundcover. It will grow 1' tall and 2' wide. It has tiny, gray green, aromatic leaves that can be used fresh or dried for culinary purposes. Tiny, lilac flowers appear in spring and summer, attracting bees. It does best in full to part sun with well draining soil that is sandy or rocky. It does not tolerate wet soil. This plant becomes drought tolerant when established. Deer resistant. Butterflies love this plant.
