John Beattie's father had purchased this tractor new in 1937 and used it on their farm at St Bathans, and it passed down through the family. John sold the farm and moved to Moeraki but the tractor sat in a shed on the farm until we purchased it in 2007. We completed the restoration in time for the big Crawler Tractor rally at Tapanui in March 2008.
