General Description
Plants 10–45 cm. Trophophore shiny green, leathery, evergreen, 4–40 cm long, wider than long with up to 10 pairs of 1 to 2 times pinnate, overlapping pinnae. Sporophore 2 to 3 times pinnate, 1 to 2 times longer than trophophore (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
