Reel Rosie Charters is owned by Capt. Garrison Rosie. Capt. Rosie has been fishing all his life. He loves teaching kids how to fish and hopes to spread his passion for this sport with you, your family, and your friends. So bring them aboard for a great catch and a day to remember!

Step aboard a 22’ Cape Horn originally built in 2003 and restored in 2017. This vessel is powered by a 225 HP Honda engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. She comes fitted with the latest fishing technology, including GPS and fishfinder, a wireless trolling motor, and a live bait well. There is room on board for up to four passengers and children of all ages are welcome.

While fishing off the coast of Panama City you will have a wide range of possibilities, both inshore and offshore. The crew specializes in light tackle fishing, from the backwaters to the Gulf and anything in between. No matter your skill level, he will help you target whichever species you have your heart set on.

Join him inshore and target Flounder, Redfish, Goliath Grouper, and Tarpon when in season. Or head farther out and chase after big game fish like Sailfish and Mahi Mahi. If you’re hoping to bring home dinner, you can spend your time fishing the wrecks and reefs for tasty Snapper and Grouper. The captainwill tailor your trip to suit whatever interests you.

What makes fishing with the captain really special is his dedication to teaching children. He offers specialized fishing trips for kids which can start at any time of day. These brief excursions will keep your kids thrilled and engaged as they learn to cast lines and discover the love of fishing.

Reel Rosie Charters provides a fishing license and all tackle. You may keep your catch, depending on the species (kids’ fishing trips are catch and release only).

Many of my fondest memories growing up are centered around different fishing experiences throughout Panama City, Florida. I began fishing with my dad at an early age when we would wade fish for Trout in the bay. At the age of 19, I combined my passion with my career and started saltwater charter fishing. Since then, I have worked on several charter boats, which has allowed me to build up knowledge and experience in the art of catching saltwater fish.
