50+ Dianthus Superbus Spooky mix seeds

This listing is for a package of 50+ Dianthus Superbus Spooky mix. AKA Dianthus X superbus. 

Tender perennial/biennial plants. Will return in milder regions. (Zones 6-8)

Unique mix of spider, long petaled pastel hues with darker centers and lighter edges. Heavily fringed upright blooms have an intoxicating sweet smell that is heavenly!

For best results treat as "cool flowers". Sow seed in trays or 4" pots in summer. 6-8 weeks before your regions first frost date. This will allow small plants to be transplanted outdoors in Autumn so the plants can be established before your regions first frost. This will produce the earliest blooms the following spring with this method. Seed can also be direct sow outdoors in early spring even when a light frost is still possible. Plants like cool temperatures. Keep in mind they will not bloom until the following spring(biennial)
