Extremely large pampas grass. Clumps of arching mid-green, very sharp leaves bearing bold, fluffy white flowering plumes on stout stems. Warm season grass. Thrives in hot, full sun exposures with good drainage. Leave standing over winter before cutting back in spring. Zone 5-9. Very useful as a specimen plant, use for screening an area or to fill in corners. Plant with sun lovers like coneflowers, black-eyed-susans, balloon flowers, garden phlox, and Russian sage.
