Fruit a dehiscent pod, oblong, terete, 4–6 cm long x 5–7 mm wide, black.

Seed ± globose, 2–4(5) mm diameter. Surface dull to semiglossy, finely rough, olive brown to dark red mottled with black splotches.

Hilum linear to lanceolate, ca. 2 mm long x 0.75 mm wide at broadest end, elevated along a central furrow, lighter in color than the slightly depressed margins.
