Dramatic foliage distinguishes this small, upright Full Moon maple. Its leaves emerge black-red, brighten to red in late spring and soften to bronze green with darker edges in mid to late summer.  A rich romp of orange, red and purple leaves completes the display in fall.

Description

Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Prefers lightly dappled shade. Leaves may scorch in full sun in hot southern summers. Plants prefer cool summer conditions. Site in locations protected from strong winds.
