Description
Molinia caerulea ‘Variegata’, or Variegated Moor Grass, is a clumping perennial grass with central green stripes surrounded by creamy yellow. Airy spikes of subtle purple flowers appear in late summer before fading to golden brown into fall.
Ornamental Grasses are low maintenance and grow well in most soil types. They look beautiful, adding color, height, and movement to your garden. Makes an excellent companion plant with contrasting foliage. This variety prefers acidic soils with consistent moisture. Full sun is ideal in cooler summer climates, but allow some shade in blistering, hot summers.
