Leonardo DiCaprio was born on November 11, 1974, in Los Angeles, California. Leo's acting work began in 1989 with the television series Parenthood, which is also where he met his best friend Tobey Maguire. He followed that role up with work on Santa Barbara and then 1991s Growing Pains. However, Leo is more known for his film work, which started with 1991s Critters 3.
