Gresso, a Swiss manufacturer focused on luxury mobile phones, have just announced another one of their expensive projects, the Luxor World Time Gold phone.

The handset is available for purchase online and at authorized Gresso retailers and can be ordered for no less than $30,000.

For those who aren't acquainted with the company's products, the Luxor World Time Gold model is the expensive version, if we may say so, of the standard Luxor World Time, which was launched last year in October and can be purchased for “just” $6,000.

Both handsets have been especially designed to show users the time of the five major world business centers: Tokyo, Moscow, Paris, London and New York. The sixth clock on the back of the phone can be adjusted by users as they see fit.

However, they won't be able to change the location of any of the five pre-defined clocks.

As the name suggests, the phone's body is made of 18K gold, while the screen is framed by two-sided sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating.

The lower part of the back side of the phone is covered by genuine Italian black leather.

The phone's screen is framed by gold bezel, while each button of the keypad is made from unique durable crystal sapphires, each being polished by hand.

It is worth mentioning that besides its sleek form factor (12 mm thickness), the phone's ultra-thin body, which houses the clock mechanisms, has a thickness of only 2mm.

Feature-wise, Luxor World Time Gold is not meant to be a top-tier mobile phone. The phone's small display supports up to 262k colors and 240 x 320 pixels resolution.

It also packs 30 MB internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion, though only up to 2GB.

The tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900) bar phone sports a 2-megapixel camera and a standard 1100 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 300 hours of standby time or up to 5 hours of talk time.
