Rosa dumalis Bechst.

Taxonomy: Fam. Rosaceae// Genus: Rosa// Species: Rosa dumalis Bechst.

Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1998).

Lifeform:  Perennial, shrub; Nanophanerophyte according to the  Raunkiær system.

Distribution:  Native to Europe (The Euro+Med Plantbase, source: Kurtto, 2009).

Habitat: Found in open habitats- grassland, sparse bushland.

Flowering period: Spring to early summer (MAY, JUN).
