The actor, 55, said on Instagram he got up early to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center on Monday but got a warning from guards for getting a little too close. Jackman shared videos and photos from the visit, kicking it off with a short clip of himself walking into the plaza. He then turns to show a wide smile at the camera with his arms open in front of the tree. “I highly recommend getting up really early on Christmas morning and taking a walk to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree,” Jackman wrote in the caption. “It’s so beautiful and not crowded at all.” Celebs Are Decking Their Halls! The holiday comes after Jackman amicably split from wife Deborra-lee in September. The pair still celebrated his 55th birthday together at Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar in New York City in October. Jackman has also been seen frequently with his Deadpool costar and friend Ryan Reynolds on morning walks around the city, with Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively sometimes joining in. The friends also attended a Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Jets at the MetLife Stadium alongside Lively’s pal Taylor Swift in early October. Jackman and Reynolds will reprise their Marvel characters Wolverine and Deadpool, respectively, in the superhero sequel, which was in the middle of filming before Hollywood actors went on strike in July.
