Dianthus carthusianorum - Tall clusters of single hot pink flowers are held well above the dark green grassy foliage. When established, D. carthusianorum holds its own and looks great contrasted with all manner of cool coloured plants like eryngiums, nepetas or the green heads of budding hylotelephium. Sun, well-drained, drought tolerant, height 60-75 cm.
