"We're really proud of how the girls competed today," Director of Wrestling Joe Jamison said. "Last year we walked away from the Princeton Open with individual wins, and this year we had two women on the podium. This is one of the toughest tournaments in the country and to start our season this way shows great progress for the program. There's still a lot of work to be done and we're looking forward to getting back to work on Tuesday, but everyone wrestled their hearts out today."

The Bears will return to action on Sunday, November 12th as they host Cedar Crest for their 2023 home opener at 11 a.m.
