Nicole Richie walked the red carpet at the premiere of “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead” held at The Grove on Tuesday in Los Angeles wearing a new piece from Schiaparelli. The star’s black velvet dress was from the brand’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection, designed by Daniel Roseberry.
“The Simple Life” star’s minidress, crafted from a black bonded velvet, featured an intricate halter-neckline constructed from gold hardware. The surrealist-inspired feather-shaped adornment attached to the neckline was crafted with a trompe l’oeil eye and hung from a chunky gold chain.
The star paired her look with several pieces of Schiaparelli jewelry that featured the same shade of bright gold hardware including a pair of black teeth earrings and several eye-shaped rings. Additionally, Richie finished off her ensemble with a pair of classic black pumps.
For her makeup, Richie donned a smokey eye look with dark black shadow and heavy black eyeliner, paired with a nude lip and dewy skin. In 2017, Richie partnered with Urban Decay as a brand ambassador and as the face of their Troublemaker mascara.
Richie was seen arriving to Tuesday’s premiere alongside actress Simone Joy Jones, who sported a similar velvet look. The “Bel-Air” star wore a floor-length cobalt blue gown that featured a sweetheart neckline, wrap-belt waistline and thigh-high slit. Additionally, Jones’ long-sleeve dress extended into full-length gloves.
The star finished her look off with minimal jewelry and a pair of pointed-toe strappy sandals in a creamy shade of beige.
“Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead,” starring Richie, Jones and June Squibb, is a remake of the 1991 film of the same name. Richie attended the premiere alongside her father Lionel Richie, his girlfriend Lisa Parigi, her mother Brenda Harvey-Richie, her husband Joel Madden and their two children Harlow Madden and Sparrow Madden.
