Charles Oakley, who was at first a Bulls teammate and later a tormentor, says there’s another antagonist left over from his days as an enforcer for the New York Knicks: owner James Dolan.

Oakley spent 10 seasons with the Knicks and was part of some epic Eastern Conference playoff battles with the Bulls during the ’90s, but for some reason the bad blood remained within his own organization, he said Wednesday via the New York Daily News.

“Everybody in New York liked me except this one guy. Why is this?” he said. “Everywhere I talk to people — ‘Why aren’t you working with the Knicks?’ I said I try to. They said, ‘What, is it Dolan?’ I talked to maybe a million people. He’s a bad guy.”

According to Oakley, not even NBA commissioner Adam Silver could broker a meeting with Dolan to try to resolve the feud.

“As hard as I played for that (expletive), and he don’t want to talk with me?” Oakley said. The 1993-94 All-Star spent four of his 19 seasons in Chicago, including his first three years.
