I love these plants and grow them every year as they don't self-seed in my clay soil. Their cheerful little faces are a real mood booster and the bees love them.

Germination Instructions
Sow indoors Feb-Mar or directly Apr-May. Indoors sow onto the surface of moist well-drained seed compost. Cover with a fine layer of soil. Ideal temp. 16°C. Germination takes 14-20 days. Keep moist during germination. When large enough to handle transplant seedlings to 8cm pots. Plant out once danger of frost has passed. Sow directly into well prepared soil that has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow 3mm deep in rows 30cm apart. Thin seedlings to 15cm spacing.
Growing Instructions
Will grow in any soil which is well-drained, in full sun but the roots like a cool moist run, so ideal for planting next to paths.
Cultivation Instructions
Will self-seed freely.
