Designing for kids room needs a lot of planning as your kids’ needs and requirements changes as they grow up. This is a must have for your kids room. Providing a writing desk will encourage your children to keep study materials and accessories in order.
Painting walls:
While painting your kids room walls, use paints which are nontoxic. By painting your kids room pink , blue, yellow, green, etc make them feel lively all the time.
Lights:
Ensure you place lot of lights in your kids room. It is advised that lights should be bright and less colourful. There should also be a reading light present.
Furniture:
Don’t clutter your kids room with lot of furniture. A small coloured table and two chairs according to their heights will be the best.
Storage space:
Have plenty of storage space in your kids room, where they can keep their clothes, books, toys etc.
Safety:
While placing electrical switchboards, make sure that you don’t place them at a low-level. Kids have the tendency to poke into electrical sockets with pins, needles, etc. This could be very dangerous.
