Viburnum carlesii ‘Aurora’

Korean Spice Viburnum, Arrowwood

Deciduous Shrub

"Outstanding Qualities
Cushions of dark pink buds open to pastel pink and impart a wonderful fragrance in early spring. Along with its springtime attributes the foliage of Viburnum carlesii 'Aurora' often turns red in autumn. This medium-sized shrub makes a great focal point or use in a mixed hedge or border.

Culture Notes
This tough shrub grows best in full sun, but will tolerate light or open shade. It prefers well-drained soil, but will tolerate sandy sites or clay if the drainage is adequate. It is drought tolerant once established, but flowering will be more profuse if it receives occasional water during dry weather. Little pruning is needed to maintain an attractive plant."—Courtesy Great Plant Picks
