Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold'

Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold' is an evergreen, low growing shrub with gold colored leaves.  Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold' is a great evergreen groundcover that makes a bold statement with its bright golden colored leaves.  Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold' is best grown in full sun for brightest color but will tolerate filtered shade (it will be pale green in partially shaded locations) in average, well drained soil (it will not tolerate wet conditions).  Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold' makes a wonderful ground cover when planted in masses and can also be used as a specimen to add of splash of bright color.  Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold' would be incredible if planted in a cobalt blue container (would need to be moved inside during the winter in cold areas).
