Native fescue with soft, fine-textured, bright green leaves that grow to 12” long. The blades quickly lay over, resulting in lush, rolling green mounds. Spreading grass that can root deeper than conventional lawns, it has been one of the key components of the popular ‘No Mow’ native lawn mix. Superb choice for meadows or as a lawn substitute. Full sun on coast, afternoon shade inland. Very low maintenance. Can handle and perform well in cold winter zones. Hardy to 0° and below.
