Dianthus carthusianorum

Description

This Dianthus has small, bright, magenta-pink blooms on tall blue-green stems. Flowers have fringed petals. Narrow grass-like blue-green foliage is clump forming. Taller flowers make a nice accent in the green roof meadow, adding some height, and increasing biodiversity. Like most perennials, this plant will benefit from growing in a deeper soil profile, or, where the green roof media has been mounded. It will need regular water to become established. A wonderful accent plant, this species will add high color and fine texture to the green roof plant palette.

Large orders may require custom growing. Please contact office for lead times.
