💘 Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and it offers bakers plenty of opportunities to get creative with patisserie 💘 However, it can also be a challenging event for time poor operators to take advantage of, with the window of opportunity to offer seasonal products very small compared to Christmas or Easter. So, what quick and easy solutions can operators take advantage of? 🧁 In patisserie, it can be as simple as swapping out a topping on a regular cupcake or brownie for Valentine’s themed toppings such as chocolate or fondant icing love heart decorations. Or, operators can introduce a special flavour for Valentine’s week such as a classic red velvet sponge, or a white chocolate cake layered with strawberry buttercream. 🍰 Another great way is to utilise part finished bakes, which allow operators to get creative with decorations in a cost-effective way which doesn’t lead to excess waste.
