Potentilla crantzii

Potentilla crantzii (Alpine Cinquefoil) is a beautiful evergreen perennial. It forms a small shrub that grows 6 inches in height with a spread of 12 inches. It blooms soon after the snow melts with a profusion of bright yellow blossoms. It is a wonderful border plant in sun. After its initial bloom it continues to bloom sporadically through the season.
