Tufted Hair Grass is an outstanding ornamental that is known best for its cloud-like mass of inflorescences. It is a promiscuous grass that intermingles and produces hundreds of confusing new strains. This is the original straight species which can be grown almost anywhere from moist meadow gardens to the cracks in pavement.
