It seems that everyone is falling in love with Lindsay Lohan all over again. Debuting her career at age 12, Hollywood’s beloved redhead made her mark as the heroine in every movie she’s ever been in. Whether you know her as a former childhood star or from her time in the tabloids, from The Parent Trap to Freaky Friday to Mean Girls, Lohan has cinematically delivered the best of the best. The Parent Trap (1998)

Life-Size (2000)
Lindsay Lohan and her co-star Tyra Banks in the 2000 The Wonderful World of Disney’s movie Life-Size. Lohan plays a young girl whose life is forever changed after accidentally bringing her Eve doll to life with magic. The light-hearted comedy was a popular fan-favorite, although Lohan did not return for the sequel in 2018.
Freaky Friday (2003)
Name a better mother-daughter duo, we’ll wait! Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan during the Freaky Friday premiere at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Released nearly 20 years ago, the film still reigns supreme as some of Lohan’s best work. Plus, Curtis and Lohan’s chemistry is hilarious and priceless. There have been talks of a Freaky Friday sequel in the past couple of months, and we’re crossing everything hoping it comes into fruition.
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004)
Lindsay Lohan and co-star Adam Garcia at the premier of Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen in New York. Released the same year as Mean Girls, Lohan plays a teen girl, who’s also an aspiring actress, that moves to New Jersey from New York City. The movie also starred Glenne Headly, Alison Pill and Megan Fox. Considered a classic to many, the actress is too good at capturing the realities of being a teenager.
Mean Girls (2004)

Aside from the brilliant storyline and star-studded cast, this is arguably Lohan’s most popular film. Directed by Tina Fey, the actress plays [another] teenage girl that moves from Africa to a new school in America. Clever catch phrases and references from the movie still live on today and have truly changed pop culture forever, which is “so fetch”!
MTV Movie Awards Show Host (2004)
As you can see, 2004 was a big year for Lindsay Lohan. The then 18-year-old hosted the 2004 MTV Movie Awards, where she graced everyone during the opening ceremony with a dance routine. Lohan said she “put everyone through hell” as she wanted more outfit changes than SATC star and previous host, Sarah Jessica Parker.
Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005)

A Prairie Home Companion (2006)

Based on the long-running public radio show, the musical comedy film also starred Woody Harrelson, Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline and Lily Tomlin.
Just My Luck (2006)
Lindsay Lohan struts the red carpet in a studded white gown during the Just My Luck premiere at Mann National Theatre in California. The romantic comedy takes place in New York City, where Lohan’s character Ashley Albright’s life (and luck) suddenly takes a turn when she kisses stranger Jake Hardin, played by Chris Pine.
Lindsay’s 21st Birthday (2007)
On July 2, 2007, Lindsay celebrated her 21st birthday in a “low-key” fashion at a private residence in Malibu. Despite her spotlight in the tabloids and rehab visits during this time, the [temporary] blondie still celebrated with friends and family with a smile on her face.
Lindsay and Samantha Ronson (2009)
From Aaron Carter to Harry Morton to Nico Tortorella, Lindsay Lohan has had her fair share of interesting relationships. In 2008, Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson became one of the first same-sex “It Couples” in Hollywood. The pair were on and off, until they officially split for good in 2009. Lindsay’s Pop Star Era (2015)
Aside from her Disney days, many may have forgotten that Lindsay Lohan had a [short-lived] music career. On December 8, 2015, Lohan performed as Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran’s special guest in London. The pop-rock singer released two studio albums: “Speak” in 2004 and “A Little More Personal (Raw) in 2005. Yet, her debut single “Ultimate” from the Freaky Friday soundtrack may still be our favorite!
Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club (2019)
Expanding her entrepreneurial empire, Lindsay Lohan launched her new club, Lohan Beach House in Mykonos in the summer of 2018. The MTV reality show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club consisted of the star bringing in the hottest American staff to work on the luxurious island. Unfortunately, the show’s ratings did not persevere and the show was canceled after just one season.
The Lohan Sisters (2022)
On November 10, 2022, the Lohan sisters were spotted in their best dresses leaving The Drew Barrymore Show in New York. Aliana Lohan showed her support alongside Lindsay, who was in town to promote her upcoming project with Netflix. After Lindsay spent the last couple of years managing her little sister’s music career, it's great to see the two are close as ever.
Falling for Christmas (2022)
It was truly a Christmas miracle for all the Lindsay fans this year. Having launched in November 2022, Lohan starred in Netflix’s Falling for Christmas after living a quieter life for the past decade. Lohan and her co-star Chord Overstreet (pictured) celebrated their film during a screening with the cast and crew in New York. The warm-hearted holiday film was the perfect project for the actress to get back on her feet. Some may feel as if she’s lived nine lives, but we think our girl is on her way to a comeback!
