Description

An under-estimated plant, with elegant whirls of clover leaves and then soft, velvet, feathers of flowers all through summer. You can cut this back to reflower in the same season, so much so, this has become one of our favourite perennial flowers for cut flower foliage. It’s good and tough and hugely long-performing.

The petals have a sweet, bean-like taste and can be eaten raw, as an edible garnish on salads and other dishes.

Care Tips

Cut back spent blooms after flowering to encourage a second flush.
