Milla Jovovich Says She ‘Created a Monster’ After Her Daughter Started This Career

Milla Jovovich is clearly the proudest mom, and she even joked that her love for acting rubbed off so much on her eldest daughter that she “created a monster.”

Earlier this month, on April 5, Jovovich made a seriously rare appearance and discussed her superstar eldest daughter Ever. However, the interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show didn’t surface in the mainstream until earlier this week, and everyone is talking about it. Specifically, people can’t get over one comment Jovovich lovingly made about her mini-me daughter, Ever.

Apparently, Jovovich’s daughter Ever wants to be an actor and is “laser-focused” on doing so.

“When my daughter was 5 years old, and by that time she’d already said she wants to be an actress, and she was quite a diva when she was a toddler,” she said, talking about how her daughter taught herself to read at a hugher reading-level as soon as she could.

Soon after, her daughter asked to go on auditions again. The proud mama said, “I’m thinking, Oh my god, I’ve created a monster here. But it was laser-focused. I said, ‘You’ve got to take acting classes! Because now you know how to read, you can read the script but you’ve got to learn to act.’ She was like, ‘Ok. Enroll me in acting class.”

As of April 2024, her daughter Ever has four acting credits: she played Young Red Queen in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Young Natasha Romanoff in Black Widow, and played the lead Wendy in Peter Pan & Wendy and Harley in Helvellyn Edge.

So it’s clear, Ever is already killing it in Hollywood!

For those who don’t know, Jovovich met her husband Paul W.S. Anderson, in 2002 while working on the film Resident Evil. They started dating soon after meeting, and got engaged a year later.

They later married in 2009, and have welcomed three children Ever, born in Nov 3, 2007, Dashiel, born in April 2015, and Osian, born in Feb 2020.
