Valentine's Day is a week away. While chocolate is always a welcome last-minute gift idea, you could also win the Hallmark holiday this year by giving your loved one a piece of the actual Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower recently removed 450 lights from the famous structure and is selling them for €540—or about $668 at press time. Called "diamond lights," these bulbs are the ones that were added to the Eiffel Tower in 2000 for the nightly light show that makes it appear to sparkle.

The collector's item no longer lights up, but is instead installed on a red plaque so it can be used as a decorative item on a bookshelf in your home.
