Description
Perennial, with erect smooth, greenish-blue stems, which become hollow with age.
Roadsides, riverbanks, ditches, cultivated and fallow ground.
Flowers
The flowers are tiny, arranged in flattish umbels, 12-30 rays on short stalks.

Fruits Seeds
Schizocarp: a dry seed that splits open on maturity, oblong, grooved, aromatic, 4-8 mm.
