Description
Similar to Platanthera bifolia but larger. Also pollinated by moths.
A tuberous perennial with enlarged underground structures for storing nutrients.
Open woodland.
Flowers
Flowers white tinged with green, hardly scented. The spur is very long (18-30 mm), distinctly swollen towards the tip.

Elliptic oval leaf. Two basal leaves, broadly oval, narrow stem leaves.
