Status: Native

Synonyms:
Stuckenia pectinata (Linnaeus) Boerner

Potamogeton pectinatus grows in the same habitat as the Eudicot, Myriophyllum spicatum, but they are readily differentiated even when not in flower. Potamogeton pectinatus does not have the whorled leaves or the thick stem.
