Panama City Dolphin Seafari Tours

The captains were great BUT you pay for a two hour trip of swimming with dolphins and snorkeling and that is not what you get. We left the dock a little after 1pm, rode to Shell Island, got about 30 minutes of looking for dolphins, then rode to an area to snorkel and got about 30 minutes of snorkeling before we were loaded back on the boats and taken back to dock arriving a few minutes before 3pm. The travel time to the island and back to dock should NOT be included in the time of the trip. So they're advertising two hours and you're really only getting one. As far as swimming with dolphins, you're going to have to be insanely lucky to find and swim with dolphins in thirty minutes, we got a few glimpses of two swimming around Shell Island. We drove from Destin to Panama City for this due to the way they advertise but the dolphin cruises we've gone on in the past out of Destin were better. This is very overpriced for an hour of activity.

Captains Matt & Paul are amazing. Jennifer is so sweet to work with. Our second trip was cancelled due to weather and she made sure we got another trip before leaving!! We went out with both Captains on the same vacation. You know it's great when you go again two days later. They teach you about everything in the ocean, especially dolphins. I think Matt personally knows all of them. Paul was very knowledgeable on jellyfish as well. Just a pleasant trip! Especially happy that Matt encouraged us to get in the water and made us feel very safe out there!! Can't wait until next year!!!
