Valentine’s nails inspiration to show your nail tech this February

Got your February nail appointment locked in but haven’t yet fallen head over heels in love with a design, yet? Allow me to introduce you to three drop dead gorgeous manicures – blind date style!

If you fancy a surprise design that suits your personality, read the following three statements, pick your favourite and then scroll to see which design you’re taking to your nail technician this month. Alternatively, take a sneak peek and see if you feel a spark with any of these V-day inspired designs. Okay, ready?

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s blind date, and here is your host, Beffshuff. On today’s show, we’ll be taking a look at three stunning Valentine’s themed manicures looking for a date with your nail artist. Let’s see what we have coming up:

  • Manicure number one is girly, glam and gorgeous. She’s a mid length with a rounded shape and her favourite thing is a bit of sparkle. Ooh la la.
  • Behinds curtain number two is a gal that can’t make up her mind and enjoys the best of both worlds. She’s bold, brave and loves to mix things up. Subtlety is not her strongest trait.
  • And finally, design number three wears her heart on her nails. Her favourite film is Ghost and her ideal date is pottery painting followed by a cup of tea.

And if after reading those pitches your heart is still torn, take a look at my top three Valentine’s nail inspiration picks below, and bookmark them for your next appointment.

Scalloped Frenchies

My 2023 Valentine’s design by Nail Art by Chlo is this gorgeous scalloped French set that’s giving me all the heart eyes. Pink is the go-to choice for Valentine’s nails, and this set ranges from a creamy ballerina to a vibrant flamingo shade. I chose pink to compliment a feathered Karen Millen jumpsuit that I wore to mine and Jake’s engagement party, and the shade on my index finger matched it almost perfectly. For this set, each finger has a scalloped French tip in a gradient of pink hues, before adding a smattering of gold metallic dots and celestial sparkles that catch the light in such a beautiful way. Chloe finished the  look with some light and dark pink gems glued down with clear builder to keep them super secure, too, making for a really tactile and visually stunning set.

Mix ‘n’ match

Can we hear a little commotion for this mix and match moment? If you’re looking for something a bit different for your Valentine’s nails, this vibrant set featuring a mash up of designs is to die for. Created using four shades of pink or red, the design includes a gorgeous triple French tip with gold chrome accents and a split heart with a chrome arrow shot through by cupid. It also sees an all-seeing eye with a heart shaped iris and chrome rays, with a fun abstract squiggle on the index finger. For me, this set is just so fun and flirtations for February 14.

Emma Bridgewater hearts

This was my first Valentine’s manicure back in 2019 and I do often consider getting a re-do of these because I still adore them. Inspired by Staffordshire ceramicist Emma Bridgewater’s iconic hearts design, this set uses four shades of red and pink, incorporating a hearts pattern similar to that seen on some of the Stoke-on-Trent pottery pieces. The base features a creamy glazed ceramic shade, with hand-painted pink and red hearts that match my favourite collection of mugs.  Love really is in the air for this mani.
