Lagenandra Meeboldii Bleeding Heart

$15

A rare plant, Lagenandra Meeboldii is related to Bucephalandra and Homalomena in the same family. Like Cryptocorynes, it can be kept in an aquarium, but it needs enough light to bring out its vivid colors. Its growing habit gives it a somewhat broad appearance, and the hues range from vivid violet to red-violet, frequently occurring on the same leaf, to a dusty green. Pale pink new leaves will sprout up.

It is a low maintenance plant that may be cultivated in both water and soil. With bigger, oval, reddish-brown leaves, it resembles a hybrid of Homalomena and Cryptocoryne Wendtii in appearance. Make cuts along the rhizome to proliferate.
