This is a yellow squash. I can't see any bugs or eggs but it looks like spider mite damage? Could it be sunburnt? None of my other squash or cucumbers or beans look like this though and they're in the same light.

Can you please send a further away picture of the whole plant? Sort of reminds me of fertilizer or pesticide burn. But a overall view of the plant would help to narrow that down. Thank you!

New growth is ok. And I've never sprayed pesticides or fertilizer on it (yet). I moved it into a more shady area incase it is burnt.

- Have you applied any fertilizers to the soil? (Even amendments like blood meal or manure) -do you see any little webs around the leaves?

I don't see any webs. There might be a pest and egg in this picture but my camera wouldn't focus well. And I've never added anything to it. I'm guessing the potting mix would have some fertilizer in it though (promix potting soil).

I was thinking spider mites...but she said there are no webs. So I am personally leaning towards thrips. It looks like sucking insect damage.
