Implant-retained Dentures at BU Dental

Benefits of Implant-retained Dentures

Implant-retained dentures are an effective dental treatment option for people who have lost most or all their teeth. They provide numerous benefits compared to traditional removable dentures.

Implant-retained dentures can dramatically improve your quality of life by:

  • Enhancing stability
  • Improving chewing
  • Preserving the jawbone
  • Increasing comfort and speech

The procedure includes the creation of a new denture and the placement of two implants in your lower jaw to hold the denture in place.

Most of our denture restorations are digitally produced which means they are highly accurate and predictable and made from advanced materials to create dentures that are stronger, more hygienic and less porous as compared to a conventional denture. Digital records can be stored and used for future reference as needed.
