Plant height
With its beautifully shaped leaves and striking red stems, the Philodendron Florida Green steals the show. It grows oblong incised leaves that are intertwined and also shine beautifully. The new leaves are almost white before turning to green, which is why the plant always has mixed leaves. Originally, the Philodendron Florida Green comes from the rain forest of South America, where Philodendrons are true climbers. This Florida Green can also be kept as a climbing plant, against a bamboo stick or moss stick the plant can then be tied up and continue to grow.
Care
The Philodendron Florida Green likes high humidity, therefore the plant likes to be watered during dry days. This also removes dust, allowing the leaves to breathe better. Furthermore, the Philodendron does not like standing next to the heater or in a draft. The Florida Green is the perfect plant for rooms that receive less light. In fact, it likes to stand in a spot in semi-shade without direct sunlight. This Philodendron likes regular small sips of water to keep the soil slightly moist.
