inspired by the representation of the climate crisis through body horror, this dress is the experimental 3rd outfit for my final collection. this garment creates the illusion of skin peeling to reveal bloodied flesh on the body. all materials used have been up-cycled and sourced second-hand.
the textile affect is achieved by coating felt fibres in liquid latex and adhering to a mesh under-layer - creating an extremely close fitted ‘second-skin’ like garment
