Full-time vlogger Nicola started suffering with the red rashes and dry skin when she was seven years old, but despite trying multiple products, the eczema has always returning.

It wasn't until she tried Aveeno's Dermexa cream in February as a last resort that her skin cleared once and for all - and it left the mum-of-two stunned.

Nicola, from Carlisle, Cumbria, said: "I had eczema in waves as a child but as soon as I hit 21 it became totally uncontrollable.

"Over the years I have tried everything and anything, whether it be a home remedy on social media like celery juice or veganism, or steroids prescribed by the doctor.

"Last year I started finding new creams that seemed to help ease the pain and minimise the flare ups as I finally narrowed down to certain foods that were triggers.

"I had spent up to £35 on creams before that did not work, so when I noticed the difference immediately with the Aveeno cream that cost just £8, I couldn't believe it."

Aveeno Dermexa helps to ease eczema thanks to soothing oatmeal which help to restore the skin's natural barrier, therefore preventing dryness.

The mum says she applies the cream every morning and evening - and tops herself up whenever her skin is feeling dry or sore.

And as well as getting rid of the symptoms, she hails the cream as being behind a confidence boost too -at last feeling comfortable in her skin.

What is eczema?

Eczema (also known as dermatitis) is a dry skin condition.

It is a highly individual condition which varies from person to person and comes in many different forms. It is not contagious so you cannot catch it from someone else.

In mild cases of eczema, the skin is dry, scaly, red and itchy. In more severe cases there may be weeping, crusting and bleeding. Constant scratching causes the skin to split and bleed and also leaves it open to infection.

Eczema affects people of all ages but is primarily seen in children. Those who “grow out” of their eczema during early childhood may see it recur again in later life.

She added: "The rash not only affected my skin but it affected my confidence too, and I used to feel so down.

"I let eczema take the better of me to the point where I had to take anti-depressant tablets, but I realised you can't put your life on hold.

"I decided to share my before and after pictures on Instagram because I wanted to shed a bit of light to show eczema sufferers their skin can and will get better.

"I want everyone to know about this miracle cream."
